Computing News That You Can Use – October 2020
For the last 4 weeks, I had been searching for a new technician to add to the Grundig IT team. Now, I am proud to announce that we have found our guy! Benjamin Gratch survived the interview and testing process, distinguishing himself along the way and emerging as the top candidate among 3 final contenders. He started last week, has transitioned nicely into his current position and is busy learning about Grundig IT’s clients and the technology that we use to support them and their quest to expand their businesses.
Prior to joining Grundig IT, Benjamin had worked since 2012 at Eudemonia in Berkeley. With Eudemonia, he started out in sales position 2012, then took charge of the computer and server operations there in 2016. I asked Benjamin to write a brief biography and this is what he said…
“Benjamin grew up surrounded by computers and curiosity developed into an interest. Early interest in computers built a foundation of knowledge for a study in mathematics and programming. Building his own home computers regularly, he learned more about how computers functioned in different environments. This interest led him to accept a position as a server maintenance technician and work with server administration, which added Linux variations to his knowledge base. After a long stay in that position, he moved into working with Grundig IT to transfer his extensive computer knowledge and people skills into a role supporting Grundig IT’s clients and business.”
